White hat operators have transferred 52.37 Bitcoin to a Wyoming-based recovery trust after racing to secure funds exposed by a Coldcard hardware wallet vulnerability. The evacuation, confirmed by Galaxy Digital head of research Alex Thorn on Monday, captured roughly 40% of the Bitcoin moved in the exploit's second wave. The funds now sit under the control of the Crypto Recovery Trust, which is working to return them to affected users.
